Groet uit Hongarye

Geagte Boere Patriotte!

Dear Boer Patriots!
It’s a great honor for me to greet you from Hungary on this historical day, as an ambassador of a Nation like the Hungarians, who like your Nation is committed to the idea of liberty. I am greeting you as a son of a liberty-lover people and pay my respects to the Boer patriots, who at the time of the Freedom Wars, despite of a terribly unfavorable force ratio, stood up and led the Boers to victory. The sacrifices were not in vain. However, the situation is still difficult in your homeland, and in both countries Hungary and South Africa, we have to fight for our sovereignty, and our right to self-determination. Our communities have to fight against those who do not respect our traditions, and our past. I wish you strength and persistence for your ongoing fights, that even in these difficult times you continue to keep your liberty and acquire your right of self-determination. In that fight, the Hungarian patriots stand by your side. Let us share between with each other our experience and fight together against the oppression.
I transmit to you the Hungarian people’s greetings, I wish you from Hungary a better future that you will reach with the help of God, just as we will.
With all my respects,
Dr. Tamás Nagy-Gaudi
